Geotextile equivalent aperture tester (wet sieve method)


The geotextile equivalent pore size tester (wet sieving method) is an instrument used to determine the effective pore size of geotextiles and related products. This instrument conforms to the GB/T17634 standard and is suitable for determining the effective pore size of all types of geotextile products.

Application

The equivalent pore diameter of geotextile and its related products was determined by wet screen method. The geotextile sample without tension is used as the screen, and the sample and graded particle material are sprayed with water under the specified vibration frequency and amplitude to make the graded particle material pass through the sample. The effective pore size of the specimen is expressed by the specific particle size of the passing particle material.
